Connect this Codex installation to Playbook as a persistent, user-wide MCP source, available across projects.

This read-only connector retrieves public source material from the main branch of https://github.com/kphilander/Playbook. No Playbook account or API key is required.

Inspect only the existing Playbook server entry first. Reuse it if it already matches; ask me before replacing a different connection. Preserve all unrelated settings and do not print secrets.

Otherwise add only the matching MCP server entry to the user-level Codex configuration, following the official Codex MCP documentation. Request any necessary permission; do not install additional software without asking.

Verify the saved configuration, then try listing the Playbook tools and reading one source. If this session cannot load the new tools, explain how to restart or reconnect. Do not report a working connection unless retrieval succeeds.

This request authorizes connection setup only. Do not create or change project files, clone a repository, build a website, or deploy anything.

Uses MCP over Streamable HTTP. Checks for repository updates when used, cached for up to 15 minutes. Responses identify revisions and flag older fallbacks. Website message feeds have a separate edition.

This connection also includes fourteen designs, overview and complete hub starters, and content checks in a separately versioned website edition.
